Ryburn 3 Step is an independent folk development project based in and around the Ryburn Valley, West Yorkshire.

We are a group of amateur, semi-professional and professional folk musicians living in the valley and we called our project 'Three Step' because it covers Song, Music and Dance. Until Covid 19 arrived, we promoted a variety of activities within the area including a regular programme of dances, pub sessions, workshop weekends, a longsword team, a mummers team, two stepdance groups, folk days and a monthly series of folksong nights. For the last year we have continued with online activities - monthly folk concerts, weekly tune sessions and, now, a virtual dance.

We meet weekly on Wednesday evenings on Old Bank Ripponden, Sowerby Bridge HX6 4DG.
