The Playhouse is an independent theatre owned and run by the Halifax Thespians.

We are a friendly amateur dramatic group, based in the Halifax Playhouse in West Yorkshire. We perform up to eight regular productions each year both on main stage and in the bar studio, as well as numerous rehearsed readings and plays.

We are always on the lookout for new talent both on stage and behind the scenes. Backstage workers have lots of fun - and they don't have any lines to learn!
