Glasgow Phoenix Choir is recognised as one of the foremost and longest established choral groups in Scotland and the wider UK.

We're a mixed voice traditional concert choir, split into the four voices of Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass. Our repertoire is wide and varied covering West End/Broadway musicals, operatic choruses, classical pieces, Scottish songs, sacred music, 'easy listening' and humour, and a typical concert will cover most or all of these genres in one night!

We have approximately 120 singing members of all ages and from all walks of life and are always keen to enlist singers. It isn’t necessary to be able to read music (though obviously it helps) and many members rely on recording rehearsals to learn their particular lines. We’re a friendly bunch and will give assistance where required!

A Singing Member’s annual subscription is currently £70 or, if aged under 21, £35. During the concert season (usually late August to mid-June) we rehearse every Monday evening from 7.30-9.30pm in St.John’s Renfield Church, 22 Beaconsfield Road, Glasgow G12 0NB. In general, we perform over 20 concerts per year.
